So I've been bored and I got GIMP, so I've been using it to do something I've always wanted to...draw myself in the style of the videos I love. yeah, it's pretty much cheating...I screenie it, use the pic as a base and trace, then add my own stuff in, but it's kinda fun anyway and I think they came out well. Underneath each is the character base and link to the video I took the initial concept from.

hahaha, yeah, the Toeto one is my fave too. perhaps I'll link the videos they are from. I'll edit it to give you guys reference points. I'm pretty comfy in my style right now (which you guys have seen examples of), but it was still fun to do this. I've been trying out new things lately. like, as other styles to draw in if I get the mood. they don't differ much visually, to be honest, but when I'm drawing it you can tell.

Looks like you are getting the hang of the style...they are not as sketchy looking. Good job. ^__^

Yeah, I've been experimenting with the brushes lately too. Some of them have blending, transparency, and other effects. They've been coming out well! I still prefer the stuff I do by hand, though. xD

***UPDATE***

I did this one today. That's Ry on the left dressed up as Len Kagamine, and me on the right as Rin Kagamine. Lately we've taken to randomly saying that at eachother.

There was a coloring issue on the music note "Chen" I never fixed, too lazy it seems. xD And there was something about the Green Alice one that seems....off, though I could never place it. But I'm glad you like 'em. =P
