My new pets...

Sooooo....I was at our friends store last night, and talked to her about me getting a salt water tank set up. The size I want will roughly cost $700 - $900 give or take. And thats from start to finish. Sooooo....I decided that we will work on that in time and over time...like eventually I will get the tank, pumps and substrate...get the water established....then add lighting...and eventually live and dead rock...etc. Build it up over time so it breaks down the cost. Plus she loves me and will give me free stuff...lol.

So I told Dave I wanted goldfish a month ago so last night he got me a bowl and a fish....she gave me a free fish some plants. Dave got me food and the water conditioner/stress coat.

So I got a calico looking one and a traditional orange and white one. =3 One is going to be named Sushi, not sure which. I am thinking the Calico one. And I need a name for the other one. But this is what they look like. Man they are still super shy.





I still need a solo of the Calico one....but he/she is really nervous yet.

And yes that is a ferret pez dispencer in the background!

Now you have fishies just like Hector, my fishy!! :-DD

Fish are so fun...and calming too! I missed having them so I told Dave I had to have a goldfish. But like I said above, I want a salt water tank....always wanted one.

Kohaku. The white-and-orange reminds me of one of the fish we had in 8th grade, which I named Kohaku. I forget what it means, it's a precious stone, though...

And while I've never been big on the idea of owning a fish (I like something a little more hands on, something you can touch and play with), I do like fish. To eat AND to look at. If koi weren't so expensive I'd look into getting a pond full of them one day...(koi are my favorite fish-to-not-eat)

Pet fishies and food fishies are two totally different things. Dx

I still have the orange n white one (Sushi is his name)....the calico one died.

Only now Sushi has a huge tank with purple n green gravel, a filter and a nice led hood that had "day lights" and "night time lights". Looks so cool. =3

I bet! I'm sorry the calico one passed before you could move them. As far as I know Theo's hermit crabs are still doing well. are you going to see about getting Sushi another pal?

Yeah....Imma get a couple more...I was thinking 4 in all for the tank. I need more plants and some form of a water sculpture. So we'll see. lol I want a black one, and a calico one...I might even get a black and gold one.
